It’s That Time Again!!

So. How was your summer? Did you get get to make any scarves? (I had to ask!)

Really, it is that time again! It’s time for the first scarf-bombing of the season with the Wrap Up! Project. It will take place Wednesday, October 13 at 7pm at Penn Square in Lancaster, PA. Then, it’s off to the Columbia Presbyterian Church in Columbia, PA to scarf-bomb there, too.

If you plan on joining us, hop on over to the Facebook event page and let us know you are coming! Please be mindful of social distancing and it probably would still be a good idea to wear a mask, too, even though this is an outdoor event.

It’s good to be back, and here’s to another season of scarf-bombing and keeping Lancaster County warm.

Wrap Up, Lancaster! collects donated hand-made scarves and hats and leaves them in public locations around Lancaster City and Columbia, PA. Each item contains a tag stating that it's not lost, but is available to anyone who needs it. We chose to only accept hand-made items because a hand-made item is like a hug from the maker to the wearer. We don't require recipients to fill out forms, or to meet certain criteria (income, residency, age, etc). Our goal is that the recipient loves the item, uses it, and that it helps them get through one more day.
